Preparing the teachers who prepare everyone else.
SBVR College of Education, Badvel was established in 1984–85 by the Badvel & Sidhout Higher Education Committee, founded by Late Sri Bijivemula Veera Reddy, former Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and works, in its own words, with the aim of preparing competent teachers to meet the new challenges of a changing society.
It offers the two-year B.Ed. degree with 100 sanctioned seats and the two-year M.Ed. with 50, on a campus of about ten acres with permanent buildings, a library, and method-subject laboratories.
